This document outlines the use and functionality of the ‘'Loading Screen Tab’' which is the eleventh in the edit config list of features.

Prepare to execute instructions

Before starting the first step, make sure you have:

  • To complete this guide, your working environment must meet all the requirements above. If you have not completed any of the points, follow the link to the appropriate instruction and complete it first.

Instructions

In the Control Panel, go to Step2: Config Selection. Press on ‘'Edit’' and you will get the list of Tabs. As it is shown below in (Image 1), the ‘'Loading Screen Tab’' is the eleventh in the list.

Loading Screen

This Tab is still experimental (in beta). It is the feature that allows uploading and playing a video on the loading page of your application.

a. Upload video Assets (mp4 only)

Click on Upload video to get to the uploader page.

If the video is not displayed or does not work, then you need to convert it via this online MP4 converter https://convertio.co/mp4-converter/

The video asset should play while the app is loading. Once the app download is complete, you have the option to skip the rest of the video to access the app.

b. Refresh video assets list

1. Choose video Assets (mp4 only)

2. External URL to add

3. Selected video assets (mp4 only)

3.1. Random shuffle?

3.2. Type Loading Screen Skip Button Text

This feature’s purpose is to replace the ‘'Skip Video’' text on your application. Fill in the empty box with the text of your choice and save it.

Now, you are ready to use the ‘'Loading screen’' Tab !
