This document is a tutorial that how to use the console commands in pixel streaming quality control menu from config in your applications.

In this video a command “Exit” was used which caused the streamer to close. It was a demonstration of executing the console commands.

Prerequisites

For this document, you will need access to the Control Panel. Please contact support if you don’t have access.

You will need to have a UE application to upload on the platform. For that, you will need these documents :

1- Enable the Pixel Streaming plugin.

2- Upload an App (without the versioning system)

  • To complete this guide, your working environment must meet all the requirements above. If you have not completed any of the points, follow the link to the appropriate instruction and complete it first.

Instructions

STEP 1. Enable the feature in your config

  1. Open your config edit menu from Step 2 : Create a Config in the Control Panel.

  1. Go to UI tab

  2. Enable “Show Pixel Streaming Quality Control” and click save.

  1. This will now enable you to use commands from a GUI in your application

STEP 2. Run your application

  1. Type your command here instead of “stat fps”.

  1. Click “Send cmd” and your command will be sent.
