This document contains the information describing how Unreal editor can be streamed in E3DS Control Panel like a streaming application.

Process:

  1. Login in your E3DS Control Panel account.

  2. Select your config and edit it,

  3. Go to the Developer Option tab and check the “Remote Control Editor” box.

  4. Now Without Selecting any application, play the app.

  5. Instead of Playing an app it will give you a link such as this, copy this link:

  6. Copy this and go to your Unreal Engine editor, make sure you have pixel streaming plugin enabled. Open the Pixel streaming dropdown and Click on UseRemoteSignallingServer.

  7. Replace this link with the one you copied in Step 5.

  8. Now select the Stream Full Editor option to start streaming your editor from browser window.

Stream Full Editor will start streaming complete editor.

Stream Level Editor will only start streaming the Game that will be playing in the editor (Play in Editor Mode), if there is no game playing in the editor, you will be streaming they editor’s viewport only.

Limitations:

Once you stop Streaming from the Editor, you need to start again from step 4. It will generate new link.
