In this tutorial, we will be enabling the Pixel Streaming plugin for an Unreal Engine Project

in your UE App before packaging your Project.

The Pixel Streaming Plugin works when you run your Project natively as a packaged application Packaged App from your Computer or when you stream it from the Control Panel.

Step 1. Enable the Pixel Streaming Plugin

From In your Unreal Engine Editor, go :

  1. Navigate to: Edit

Step 2. Restart the Project

  1. Check the box of the ‘Pixel Streaming’ Plugin.

  2. Click ‘Restart Now’ to restart your Project

2. Enable the ‘Always Show Touch Interface’ Plugin (Optional)

 

Note

This is optional, and not Not required for all Projects .!

For Projects like the Third-Person Template, this makes sure that users with touch devices can control the streamed application App (as long as the Project's Player Controller supports touch input).

To Test your application Follow the steps below, to show the on screen touch controllers on mobile devices:

  1. Navigate to : Edit > Project Settings > Engine > Input > Mobile.

  2. Check the box of ‘Always show Touch Interface’.
