This document is a tutorial on how to capture microphone data from the Browser and send it to your App.
Preparing to execute instructions
For this document, you should :
Access the Control Panel
Enable the Pixel Streaming plugin Enable the Pixel Streaming plugin
Package your App Package your Project from Unreal Engine
Upload an App in the Control Panel Upload an App on your Control Panel
Select your App from Step 1 in the Control Panel Select an App
Select/create a Config from Step 2 in the Control Panel Select/Create a Config
- To complete this guide, your working environment must meet all the requirements above. If you have not completed any of the points, follow the link to the appropriate instruction and complete it first.
Instructions
You need to create a config to enable the microphone input.
Create a new config by following this doc :
now form sound section check “ Use Browser side Microphone “
Click Save.
Now open your application.
First time accessing the URL will ask for permission . follow this doc to know how to allow permission to capture microphone data https://eagle3dstreaming.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ETDI/pages/172818439/Microphone+access+to+the+user+s+device
E3DS browser side system will start sending captured data to your App.
Now you are ready to use the Browser side Microphone!
