Use and functionality of the feature Session Duration (Minutes) in the Old Control Panel.
Prerequisites
Before starting the first step, make sure you have:
Access to the Control Panel.
A user Account.
Instructions
Step 1. Sign in the Control Panel
Login to the Old Control Panel.
Step 2. Select your App
Select your App from the drop down menu in ‘'Step 1 : Select an App’' from the Control Panel.
Refer to this document if you need to Add an App to your Control Panel.
Step 3. Select/Create your Config
Select your Config from ‘'Step 2 : Create a Config’' in the Control Panel.
Refer to this document if you need to create a new Config.
Step 4. Go to the ‘Session' Tab
Go to :
Control Panel > Step 2: Create a Config >Edit > Session.
Step 5. Enter a time value in the Session Duration text field
Our system has no session duration limits. Check this Youtube video.
Go to : Session Duration (Minutes)
Type the time value in the box. (In this example, we chose 15 min).
Click Save.
Step 6. Run the game to test the feature
Go to : Control Panel > Step 3: Generate URLs > Play App.
After the time set in the box of ‘'Session Duration (Minutes)’' comes to an end (i.e. 15 minutes in this example ), the session expires and a message is displayed.
In order to play the game again, you have to open a new session from a new Tab. (by going back to Step 3 from the Control Panel to play the App again)
This Feature is useful for users on the Pay Per Minute plan. (i.e. to reduce Streaming time and save usage) (Select the PPM plan from here).
Same as the ‘URL expiry Date' (See this document).
Same as the ‘AFK Feature’ (See this document and this also).
Same as ‘Close Tab on Losing Visibility’ (See this document).
