Creating a Development Build

Open UE editor > File > Package Project > Build Configuration > Development/Debug.

Choose ‘'Development’' or ‘'Debug’' as your ‘'Build Configuration’' before Packaging your app from UE to generate Logs and allow our system to capture them.

Step2. Enable ‘Print UE4 Log in Browser Console’ from the Control Panel

Go to: Control Panel > Edit > Developer Options > Print UE4 Log in Browser Console > Save.

Step 2. Enabling the setting from the Control Panel

  1. Go to: Old Control Panel.

  2. In Step 2: Select a Config, click Edit Config and navigate to Developer Option.

  3. Enable Print UE Log in Browser Console and click Save.

Warnings ⚠️

Note

Displaying logs to a user located far from the server may cause:

  • Connection issues due to poor network quality and the large volume of logs being transmitted.

  • Latency issues if the user has a limited internet connection.

We recommend disabling the ‘Print UE Log in Browser Console’ feature in your config unless necessary.

Excessive console logs can degrade performance, slow down the stream, and increase browser resource usage. Disable the ‘Print UE Log in Browser Console’ setting to optimize the streaming experience.

During a Crash, errors appear in the Logs on your Console and the red error message on the app during runtime : ‘'App crashed. So redirecting you in 3 sec to re-establish connection’'.

Right-click on the error from the Log log to save it on your device.

Important Notes:

Showing a Log to a user connected far away from the server user might create :

  1. A connection issue due to the poor connection and the huge amount of Logs coming from far away.

  2. Latency issue if user has limited internet connection.

We recommend disabling it in your config if it is not needed.
