Auto Download UE Crash Log

Download Logs on your device upon App crash.

Overview

Learn how to enable the 'Auto Download UE Crash Log' Feature to get Logs automatically downloaded on your device whenever your App crashes.

Prerequisites

For this document, you need :

  1. Access to the Control Panel ;

  2. A user Account.

Instructions

Step 1. Prepare the setup

If you already have an App uploaded on the Control Panel Packaged as a Dev/Debug Build, created a Streaming Link for your App and a Config, then you can skip Step 1 and move to Step 2.

 

  1. Create a Development Build from Unreal Engine

Package your Project as “Development” or “Debug” to generate Logs on your device and for our system to capture them. Refer to this document for more details on each Build Configuration.

Follow this Path :

  1. Package your App for Windows

  1. Upload your Build on the New Control Panel

Refer to this document.

  1. Create a new Streaming Link

Refer to this document.

  1. Create a new Config

You can create a new Config to generate Logs or select an old Config previously created. Refer to this document.

Step 2. Enable Auto Download UE Crash Log

  1. Follow this Path :

  1. Click Save.

Step 2. Receive the Log upon Crash

Now, whenever your App crashes, the Log will get downloaded on your device automatically.

Warning

 

Now you are ready to have your Logs automatically Downloaded on your device upon Crash !!
